Workplace Health Promotion Programmes

We support our corporate partners through initiatives to help them build up a healthier workforce. We encourage them to adopt a holistic and integrated approach to the implementation of comprehensive Workplace Health Promotion Programmes.

Our suite of programmes is designed to help organisations in the following ways:

  • Create and promote awareness of Health and Wellness
  • Educate the workforce on various health topics through health talks and workshops that are designed to suit the needs of different groups of staff within the organisation
  • Manage and / or improve health conditions through targeted intervention programmes that aim to address specific health issues. Examples of these intervention programmes are the Smoking Cessation Programme and Chronic Disease Self-management Programme.

Our Smoking Cessation Clinic helps smokers quit smoking and lead healthier lives. Run by experienced pharmacists who are certified Quit Smoking Consultants, this service can be provided at our corporate partners’ premises for the convenience of their employees.

Our Smoking Cessation Programme lasts six months and is approved by the Health Promotion Board. The programme consists of:

  • Group counselling sessions
  • Face to face counselling sessions
  • Follow-up phone calls

The Smoking Cessation Programme can be customised after detailed discussion with the corporate partner. Health talks can also be provided upon request.

Better Choices, Better Health® is a six-week programme designed by Stanford University, USA to help patients actively manage chronic conditions. The programme is designed for those with one or more chronic conditions or those who are caring for patients with chronic conditions. Conducted by our Allied Health Professionals, the programme runs for 2 to 2.5 hours per session weekly.

Participants will learn:

  • Symptom(s) management
  • Nutrition and exercise
  • Communication skills
  • Relaxation techniques
  • Medication usage
  • Self-management skills
  • Goal-setting and problem solving
