JurongHealth Campus is a participating site for NUHS Family Medicine Residency Programme. Residents are rotated to NTFGH and JCH to cater to their needs for broad-based training.
Residents posted to our Department of General Medicine are given opportunities to learn from disciplines such as Internal Medicine, Acute Medicine, Respiratory, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, General Medicine, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Renal and Oncology. For residents posted to our Department of General Surgery, there are opportunities to be rotated through the various sub-specialties including Urology. Residents are exposed to a wide range of clinical cases to gain experience on diagnostic and management problems that challenge their analytical skills.
In addition, residents will appreciate our patients’ seamless care journey in the JurongHealth Campus ecosystem as patients go through a streamlined transit from acute medical or surgical condition in NTFGH to post-operative recovery, rehabilitative and/or sub-acute in JCH. In JCH’s Post-acute and Continuing Care Service, residents can contribute to holistic care provision as the service focuses on multi-disciplinary team approach and partners closely with community health service providers for care integration in the community.
