Biosketch

Dr Tan Char Loo graduated from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2009. Thereafter she trained in Anatomic Pathology at the Department of Pathology, National University of Hospital, Singapore. In 2015 she completed her specialist training in Anatomic Pathology and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. She has a subspecialty interest in Neuropathology. In 2018, she was awarded an AMDA sponsorship to pursue subspecialty training in Neuropathology, and spent half a year as a Visiting Fellow at the division of Neuropathology, Duke University Medical Centre, USA, under the mentorship of Professor Roger McLendon, and half a year as a Visiting Fellow at the division of Neuropathology, University of California, San Francisco, USA, under the mentorship of Professor Arie Perry.
