Dr William Kristanto is currently an interventional Cardiologist at the National University Heart Centre. He is also part of the Western STEMI network of interventional Cardiologist, performing out of office hour primary angioplasty for the Western region of Singapore. His area of interest includes coronary physiology and imaging. He is also the Cardiac Rehabilitation program lead for NTFGH. His secondary appointment is that of Deputy Chief Medical Informatics officer (DyCMIO) for which he is actively involved in the implementation of NGEMR (Next Generation Electronic Medical Records). 

Dr William Kristanto graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2010. He completed his Internal Residency Program at National University Hospital (NUH) for which he was Chief Resident, followed by his Cardiology Senior Resident program at NUH. Throughout his years of training and work, he won numerous awards, notably as Best Young Clinician at NTFGH (2016), Service Ambassador (2017). He was granted the HMDP award in 2019 but was rescinded due to COVID-19. 

Dr William Kristanto is also heavily involved in clinical teaching and research. He is currently under the Clinical Faculty Scheme in NUS. He is also involved as an investigator in numerous ongoing trials. 

He is currently a member of the Singapore Cardiac Society as well as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore.
