The Palliative Medicine service in JurongHealth Campus provides care to patients with advanced cancer or terminal illness, including those arising from non-cancer conditions. The service covers both inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on symptom management and end of life care. Supportive care and palliative medicine is appropriate at any age and at any stage in a serious illness, and it can be provided along with curative treatment. The service provides a holistic care approach via the multidisciplinary team that encompasses psychological, emotional and spiritual support.
