In-situ Simulations (Anaesthesia)

This simulation-based programme equips anaesthesia trainees with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise and manage critical events in the operating theatre. Through realistic in-situ scenarios, participants will develop clinical decision-making, teamwork, and procedural competencies in a safe learning environment. The course focuses on the assessment and resuscitation of critically ill patients, performance of essential anaesthesia procedures, and application of Crisis Resource Management principles to optimise team performance and patient outcomes. Participants will also practise managing both common and rare anaesthesia emergencies using a structured and systematic approach.
