NTFGH and JCH signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Keppel Ltd.'s Infrastructure Division (Keppel) to explore the feasibility of Keppel expanding its upcoming District Cooling System plant in Jurong Lake District further for NTFGH and JCH’s use.
This MOU marks a significant step forward as we continue to pursue initiatives that align with Singapore’s national sustainability goals. By working towards adopting more energy-efficient infrastructure, we are doing our part to build a greener healthcare system - creating a sustainable environment for our patients and community, while empowering our staff to be champions of environmental stewardship.

As part of our broader sustainability efforts, we also hosted the “Heal Our Patients, Heal Our Planet” public forum, which brought together members of the public, healthcare professionals and sustainability experts.
The forum, supported by the SG Eco Fund and held in support of Go Green SG and Clean & Green Singapore, served as a meaningful platform for exchanging ideas, sharing knowledge, and sparking conversations on how we can work together towards a healthier, greener future.
Alongside the forum, participants enjoyed a vibrant green interactive zone where they learnt about sustainable practices through fun and engaging activities. We will continue to explore more opportunities to integrate sustainability into healthcare, raise awareness across the community and inspire lasting positive change!
