The last line of defence against COVID-19

Our Healthcare Professionals

In the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the care team (comprising of doctors, nurses and respiratory therapists) serves as the last line of defence for severe and critical patients with COVID-19 infection. These patients usually show signs of respiratory failure where they require oxygen support, and their condition can fluctuate rapidly.

A dedicated team works round the clock 24/7 to closely monitor our patients and to provide the best appropriate care and treatment.

Here's a glimpse into the daily work of our NTFGH ICU team in our fight against COVID-19.
