Dr Ong Lizhen is a senior consultant chemical pathologist at the Department of Laboratory Medicine, NUH. After receiving her undergraduate medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2006, she trained in internal medicine and laboratory medicine. She obtained her membership to the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2010, and fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of the United Kingdom in 2015.
Her clinical and research interests are in biochemistry and immunology, including metabolic diseases and new biomarkers.
