Dr Teng Gim Gee is Head and Senior Consultant at NUH Division of Rheumatology. She also serves as the Head of Chronic Programme, Alexandra Hospital. Dr Teng is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal medicine and Rheumatology.
Dr Teng Gim Gee graduated from the School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. She underwent internal medicine residency at the Austin Medical Education Programs in Austin, Texas. She completed Rheumatology fellowship at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), United States. Dr Teng is highly committed to postgraduate medical education and was awarded the Best Mentor Award (2011), Best Clinical Supervisor (2011-12) and Passionate Teacher Award (2013-14) for her dedication as a teaching faculty. She completed her Masters of Clinical Investigation at National University of Singapore in 2012. She was the program director of the NUHS Rheumatology Senior Residency from 2012 to 2018. Her research interests include epidemiology and outcomes of systemic sclerosis, gout and inflammatory arthritis.
