Dr Sun Yang currently serves as an Associate Consultant in the Division of General Medicine at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH).
She earned her medical degree from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and completed her residency in Advanced Internal Medicine under the National University Health System (NUHS). During her training, she was recognised with the NUHS Junior Residency Excellence Award for her exemplary performance.
Dr Sun is deeply committed to providing holistic, patient-centred care. She believes in customising treatment plans to reflect each individual’s preferences, priorities, and health goals.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr Sun is actively involved in medical education. She received the NUS Dean’s Special Recognition Award for Clinical Teaching during her residency and continues to contribute as a core faculty member in the JurongHealth National Postgraduate Programme. She also leads the JurongHealth Hospital Clinical Programme.
Her academic contributions include research publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at both local and international conferences.
