Healthy Home 2016

Community Outreach

Good health begins at home. More than 200 JurongHealth Campus staff volunteers gathered at Taman Jurong to spring clean the homes of needy, elderly residents ahead of the Lunar New Year. Some of them were our own patients and it made it all the more meaningful to help them create safe and healthy living environments.

The residents were also invite to our health carnival with food, games, a lion dance and an appearance by the God of Fortune. Chatting happily with our doctors, nurses and Allied Health Professionals, they picked up useful tips on healthy eating, good sleep habits, mouth hygiene, and many more.

We thank our friendly partners -Taman Jurong CC and Zone B RC - for their support at Healthy Home 2016 and salute them for their dedication to their community, ensuring that their residents are well looked after. We also appreciate the help of our service partners - Cofely FMO and ISS Facility Services - and our volunteers. Last but not the least, we thank our enthusiastic bunch of JurongHealth staff volunteers for bringing smiles to our community!
