Pre-order Your Balance Medication

This service is only for patients who are holding prescriptions with balance uncollected medication from Ng Teng Fong General Hospital’s Specialist Outpatient Clinics.

If you do not have a prescription with balance medication(s), please contact our General Enquiries Line at 6908 2222 (24 hours).

Patients/caregivers may either opt for self-collection from pharmacy, self-collection from locker outside institution or delivery to preferred location.

Collection hours for Self-Collection:

  • Mondays - Fridays: 9am - 6pm
  • Closed on Saturdays, Sundays & PHs
  • Medications will be delivered to your preferred locker location on your preferred collection day (Mon-Sat)
  • You will be notified via SMS once the medication parcel is ready to be collected. Medication parcel will be deposited in the locker for 48 hours for your collection.
  • There will be a delivery charge of $4.00 (before GST) per delivery

Mondays – Fridays (excluding public holidays):

  • Morning (9am - 1pm)
  • Afternoon (2pm - 6pm)

Use the NUHS App for Medication Top-ups & Refills

Order your medication balance wherever, whenever.

The NUHS App allows patients to order their prescriptive medication top-ups and refills through the mobile application.

You can choose to have your medication delivered directly to your preferred location, or pre-order your medications for self-collection at the pharmacy, or self-collection from locker outside institution via the NUHS App. The mobile app also keeps track of your order history when you login via SingPass.

Terms and Conditions for Medication Delivery:

  1. We no longer accept medication delivery requests through phone calls and emails. Please kindly use the following online channels to submit your medication delivery request:
    1. NUHS app (Click to download the NUHS app)
    2. Via https://eservices.healthhub.sg/medication-refill
    3. FormSG (if you do not have SingPass)
  2. Please ensure you have at least 2 weeks of medications before requesting a delivery. For urgent requests, you may wish to opt for self-collection at the pharmacy or walk-in to the pharmacy for medication collection.
  3. Delivery is only available within the main island of Singapore.
  4. Certain medications cannot be delivered (e.g.: controlled drugs, medications that need to be taken immediately); your pharmacist will advise accordingly. NTFGH Pharmacy reserves the right to determine if a request can be fulfilled by the medication delivery service.
  5. Our staff will process your request within 5 working days. Should we require any further clarifications, our staff will contact you to confirm your request. Otherwise, you will receive a confirmation SMS from us.
  6. There will be a delivery fee of $4.00 (before GST) per delivery.
  7. Additional fees may be charged for the following:
    1. Urgent deliveries
    2. Bulky items
    3. Rescheduling of missed deliveries
    4. Amendments to medication quantity, delivery date/time after processing ($4.00)
    5. Change of service type (e.g. Change of service from delivery to self- collection, and vice versa)
  8. For safety, security and hygiene reasons, medication packages cannot be left at the door or any other place outside the premise. Please ensure that an authorized recipient is present at the delivery address during the agreed date and time to receive the delivery. NTFGH Pharmacy reserves the right to charge additional delivery fees for:

    • Subsequent trip(s) made, if the recipient is not available at the mutually agreed delivery time to receive the items

    • Unsuccessful delivery due to incorrect/invalid address provided

  9. Items delivered are non-refundable / non-exchangeable.

    Self-collection at Pharmacy

    Medications need to be collected within 1 calendar week of specified collection date. Thereafter, the medication order will be cancelled and longer waiting times at Pharmacy will apply.

    Our pharmacy staff will process the medication collection request based on your information provided. If required, our pharmacy staff will contact you within the next 5 working days to seek clarification regarding your request.

    Otherwise, you will receive a confirmation SMS from us. You may proceed to the pharmacy on stipulated collection dates and inform our registration staff that you have placed an online order to collect your medications.

    Self-collection from Locker outside institution

     

    • Please ensure you have at least 2 weeks of medications before requesting for collection from locker.
    • Certain medications cannot be delivered e.g. controlled drugs, medications requiring cold chain storage, bulky medications, medications that need to be taken immediately.
    • We will process your request within 5 working days. Kindly ensure the contact number provided is correct, as we may call you for clarification during this time. Otherwise, you should receive a confirmation SMS from us.
    • Please contact us at [email protected] if you do not hear from us within 5 working days.
    • Delivery fee of $4.00 per delivery. Prevailing GST applies.
    • You will be notified via SMS to the number provided by the courier once the medication parcel is ready to be collected. Medication parcel will be deposited in the locker for 48 hours for your collection.
    • Do note that any parcels not collected by the stipulated time stated would be returned to the pharmacy. An additional fee of $8 (before GST) will be charged and borne by the requester.
