Singapore Army’s Red Lions pay tribute to healthcare staff on the frontlines

Our Healthcare Professionals

What an exhilarating front-row view for JurongHealth Campus staff as The Singapore Army's Red Lions descended upon the nearby open space in a rare feat to pay tribute to healthcare staff on the frontlines on National Day!

And in a symbol of unity, The Republic of Singapore Air Force's Chinook helicopter carried the state flag and flew past, in honour of our healthcare workers and to remind us all to keep powering on.
The SAF mobile column soon followed, rumbling on the road along Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong Community Hospital to perform a salute to our healthcare workers for their bravery and dedication in the fight against COVID-19.

We thank (and salute) this year's NDP committee for putting together a much-needed celebration in unprecedented times and bringing the National Day celebration closer to our homes. Not forgetting all frontliners across the many industries working quietly and hard to keep Singapore safe and sound.

9 August has always been and will always be a day to remember. We wish all a Happy National Day. Majulah Singapura!
