Adjunct Assistant Professor Audrey Tan is the Head of Division and Senior Consultant for the Division of Foot and Ankle Surgery at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. She is also the Clinical Director of the department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.
She graduated with an MBBS from the National University of Singapore, and completed her postgraduate specialist training in orthopaedic surgery in 2015, obtaining an FRCS degree.
Adj Asst Prof Tan completed a 1 year Foot and Ankle fellowship in 2018 in Switzerland under the tutelage of Professor Xavier Crevoisier from Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois/Lausanne University Hospital, focussing on complex foot deformities and total ankle arthroplasty. She is actively involved in postgraduate training of orthopaedic residents. She is also keenly interested in medical humanitarian work, and has completed a short but life-changing stint in Afghanistan in 2022.
Her key interests are in foot deformity correction, and arthritis of the foot and ankle. With a passion for restoring mobility and relieving pain, she utilises a multidisciplinary team approach to complex conditions in order to provide comprehensive and best care to her patients.
Adj Asst Prof Tan speaks English and Mandarin fluently, and French at a minimum B2 level (professional working proficiency).
