Dr Linette Tan is a Consultant in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. Her interests include Salivary Gland Diseases and Otology, focusing on the diagnosis and management of ear disorders and hearing restoration.
She graduated from the University of Cambridge, UK, and subsequently completed the ACGME-I accredited Otolaryngology Residency Programme under the National University Health System. Dr Tan holds postgraduate qualifications in MRCS (General Surgery) and MMed (ORL). She further honed her expertise through a clinical fellowship in Otology, Neurotology, Lateral Skull Base Surgery, and Hearing Implants at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, United Kingdom.
Passionate about education, Dr Tan is actively involved in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives. She serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, where she teaches undergraduate medical students, and is the Associate Programme Director for the NUHS Residency Programme. Her academic contributions include publications in peer-reviewed journals, and she is a reviewer for the Annals of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
