What happens when colourful yarns, nimble hands, and a spark of imagination come together? A joyful two-part tapestry installation emerges—woven from over 180 metres of knotted ropes and yarn, handcrafted by the community, staff, and patients. These artworks are the result of a meditative, repetitive act that celebrates the therapeutic power of play and the quiet strength of self-expression. Each knot is more than a loop of thread; it is a moment, a memory—woven into a larger story of connection, care, and colour.

Featuring clay sculptures, beadwork, sticker collages, and textured compositions, the exhibition reflects on memory, repetition, and the quiet power of shared experience. Working closely with patients, the artists use playful approaches—like storytelling, beading and hands-on craft-making—to co-create vibrant series of artworks that celebrate the resilience, wisdom, humour and lived experience of pioneers. Commemorating SG 60, this exhibition stands as a tribute to them, and to the power of art in building community, healing, and remembrance.
