This hands-on course equips participants with practical skills to implement the 6S system for workplace productivity and safety in healthcare settings. Participants will learn the core 6S principles and observe real-life applications across clinical areas. Through interactive activities, games and site-based audits, learners will experience how organisation, standardisation, and visual management improve efficiency and reduce waste. By the end, participants will be able to apply 6S concepts, lead improvement initiatives, and enhance workplace safety and efficiency within their departments.
This course is designed to enable you to understand and apply 6S methodology at workplace, which touches on the key components - sort, straighten, shine, standardise, sustain and safety.
You will also learn the steps to implement 6S to your work area to reduce waste, improve productivity and safety for everyone.
