Volunteer Programmes

Volunteers play an important role in enhancing the experience of our patients and visitors.  With more than 14 programmes and activities to choose from, volunteers with various skills and interests can contribute your time meaningfully.

Our programmes include :

  • Art & Music-on-the-Move
  • Bedside Buddies
  • Community Gardeners
  • Greeters & Guiders
  • Mobile Game / Library

Art- & Music-on-the-Move is part of JurongHealth Campus' Art & Health Programme that aims to create a healing environment for our patients through art.

Music-on-the-Move's mission is to bring cheer and comfort to patients. Our volunteer musicians perform live music with instruments such as the violin, guitar, saxophone, etc. These sessions liven up the atmosphere in the wards and other areas in the hospitals, bringing joy to patients and aiding their recovery process.

Creative work keeps the mind active and provides positive distraction for our patients. Art-on-the-Move volunteers engage patients at their bedside so they do not have to get out of their rest area for the art activities.

  • Engage patients by singing, playing a musical instrument and/or conducting art & craft activities
