Dr Ambrose Cheng is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Psychiatry in Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. He received his medical and psychiatric training in Canada, and has worked in academic hospitals, community clinics and rural outreach.
Dr Cheng is an appointed Associate Programme Director for the national psychiatry residency programme. He is also Adjunct Assistant Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is involved in teaching medical students and psychiatry residents. In addition, he delivers talks to general practitioners and community partners on a regular basis.
