Biosketch

Dr Pravin Anand graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University Singapore (NUS) with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) in 2013. After completing his National Service (NS) stint in 2016, he commenced his Paediatric Residency training in the Department of Paediatrics, National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore in 2017, where he attained his Master of Medicine (Paediatrics) and Membership to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) in 2019. He was awarded the Nestle Nutrition Silver Medal Award in the Master of Medicine in Paediatrics in 2019 and achieved his Specialist Accreditation for Paediatric Medicine in 2023. 

His clinical interests include ambulatory General Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine as well as Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics.  He currently practices as an Associate Consultant in the Child Development Unit (CDU), Khoo Teck Puat – National University Children's Medical Institute (KTP-NUCMI), National University Hospital and as an Associate Consultant in General Paediatrics in the National University Centre for Women and Children (NUWoC) Children’s Clinic, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH).

Outside of clinical work, Dr Pravin enjoys teaching and training undergraduates at the Centre for Healthcare Simulation (CHS), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University Singapore (NUS), as well as postgraduate medical professionals. He serves as the medical lead in the Health Development Support in Preschool Partnership (HEADS-UP), a holistic community outreach programme involving pre-school children and their caregivers from low-income and disadvantaged families. He has also served on medical missions in Nepal.
