The Renal Medicine service cares for patients through the entire spectrum of kidney disease. Our team provides 'at risk' screening for early detection of kidney problems to caring for patients who need dialysis or kidney transplant.

Our comprehensive management includes customised and multi-disciplinary clinical care, education and counselling to slow down kidney disease and its complications to keep patients as well as possible. Dialysis and kidney transplant will be planned when the need arises.

Patients with chronic kidney disease commonly suffer from diabetes and high blood pressure. Our team helps patients to manage various forms of inflammatory kidney conditions in association with familial, urological, and multi-system conditions. The team also treats various related cancers and assists in the transition to hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, kidney transplant (as appropriate) and continue ongoing care.

Our team comprises specially trained clinical coordinators, nurses, educators, counsellors, dietitians, medical social workers and specialist clinicians. Together, they address specific needs of patients and their caregivers, offering a one-stop and coordinated service.
