Yan Jun is a Quality Improvement (QI) practitioner with over a decade of experience in healthcare, bringing strong expertise in driving system-level improvement and capability development.
His training competency is rooted from extensive hands-on experience leading strategic improvement initiatives across JurongHealth Campus. As a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Improvement Advisor, Yan Jun has developed a deep understanding and application of structured methodologies to real operational challenges—enabling teams to achieve measurable, sustainable improvements in care delivery and processes.
In his role as Lead Process & Innovation Specialist, Yan Jun plays a key role in shaping a culture of continuous improvement. He draws directly from practical project work to deliver training that is grounded, relevant, and actionable, helping participants connect improvement concepts to real-world applications in their own work environments.
As an ACLP-certified trainer, Yan Jun combines methodological rigour with an engaging and supportive facilitation style. He adopts a learner-centred approach, using case-based discussions, coaching, and guided practice to build confidence and capability in applying QI tools effectively.
